01/12/2003 Entry: "Happy New Year! >>Ouch!<<"

First off I'd like to wish each and every one of you a Happy and Prosperous 2003! May this year be YOUR year.

Sorry by New Year's wishes are a bit delayed but this has been a weird year thus far. I really can't go into a lot of the specifics as they are somewhat private and/or job related but suffice it to say that 2003 will be a doozie!

OK - now that's off of my chest - let's move on with what's up in PCT Land. PCT will be entering its 4th year in existence in large part to the great friends and Members of my BB where I spend a good amount of time and energy. I hope to grow my sales in FY 2003 as well. I was sort of hoping for a few things to shake loose at work but they have not so it's time to make my own breaks and plan for the future. Growing sales on the web site should help a little.

There are also a few things in the hopper/on tap for this year that should pan out to be, if nothing else, v-e-r-y interesting. Again I cannot really comment on these but will be able to do so at some point in the (hopefully) near future.

I am planning on going back to school too. I have registered to take a few classes on-line so that will be a good thing.

A part from escuela I am also planning on taking a few classes this year - one of which may be as early as the end of January for a week. This will be an intensive EP Course taught here in the greater Dallas area. My second option is a class in Memphis, TN. I need to build up my EP resume and there is only one way to do so - training.

Any training plans for you?

OK - I also started off this Blog posting with the word OUCH. Catchy, huh? For those of you who may not know - my back/shoulders/neck has been in a constant state of pain for about 2 weeks. I finally did something about it this past Friday and went to a Chiropractor/Sports Medicine place to get an adjustment. She (the Chiropractor) hooked up a few electrodes to my back/shoulders and let a current pass through my back to help loosen up the 'tension balls' I have created (I can get you the recipe if needed ;) ). That was cool! Then came time for Stephen to do crack... well, actually to have my back cracked.

An hour or so later I was on another table - this time at a home of a lady who does deep tissue sports massage.... what a concept! I have never had a deep tissue massage and WOW was I in for a ride!

Some 60 minutes had elapsed before I got off of the table and I felt like hammered Play-Doh! It was almost like I had a full-blown work out!

The next day (Saturday) I was basically worthless until about noon when things started to feel somewhat normal again. Aaaahhh.... much better.

Today (Sunday) things are still OK and I have been rubbed down a couple of times with a deep heat rub at home. That was a-very nice-a.

I almost forgot! It SNOWED today in Dallas! Woohoo! I love snow! Bailey (The Wonder Puppy) had fun romping in the snow and fetching snow balls! It was cute... I guess you had to be there....

Any way - that's about it - I just wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year and hope the best for you in 2003!

--Stephen
