My Florida concealed weapon license expired so I jumped through the hoops today to obtain an Alaska concealed handgun permit that is honored in 39 states. Alaska requires a qualification shoot - 26 rounds fired from 3-25 yards.

I dusted off my trusty P7M8 for this course and test. I wasn’t disappointed as it produced a perfect 260 out of 260 score. It may be 1980s technology with only an 8-round capacity - but I am confident that any round I launch downrange will score a hit in the kill zone of a target out to 25 yards.

"Its not WHO is right -- but WHAT is right -- that IS IMPORTANT!"

Nice F&S! I've been spending time with a few 1911's the last 6 months or so but I picked up my carry M13 over the weekend thought to myself...."what the hell am I doing?". There's just no substitute for a squeezer.....

BTW.....I'm jealous you're in Alaska now....I always eye the job offers in AK a little more than the others.....someday maybe.

Wow, I didn't know the Cult board was still up. My first post since 2014, and haven't posted regularly since 2011!

Still carrying and qualifying with the P7. Going on 30 years. While I have plastic pistols, I find there's no "pride in ownership" like a P7 (or a 1911).
